Established
on October 28, 1894 M.R. Falcons Nest #4 is the active Nest in District VI.
NAME, HEADQUARTERS, INSIGNIA, SEAL AND PURPOSE
OF THE NEST
- This Falcon Nest organized on October 28, 1894 , bears
the name MIECZYSLAW ROMANOWSKI, NO. 1, POLISH FALCONS OF AMERICA
NEST 4, according to Indiana State Laws.
- The Headquarters City is South Bend , Indiana .
- The insignia of the Nest is a Falcon rampart. It shall
be borne on the seal and colors.
- The purpose of the Nest is the awakening, the furthering
and maintenance of the National Spirit; the encouragement of gymnastics
in general and of mental hygiene and development of exercises in
particular, thereby building up among the members, a spirit of manliness
and helpfulness of association and mutual aid.
The Nest implements this purpose by:
- Sponsorship of public exercises and contests.
- Sponsorship of community-wide national celebrations, lectures,
excursions, holiday parties, and by the active participation
in all matters of national concern.
- Mutual aid in spiritual and material matters.
ARTICLE II
MOTTO AND SALUTATION
The motto of the Nest is:
A sound mind in a sound body. The Falcon salutation is: "Czolem".
